Antonio Levon Ricardo Stewart allegedly stole a pack of South Carolina Education Lottery scratch-off tickets from a Murphy USA in Florence in Horry County while he was there for an interview on May 6, 2025. It was all allegedly caught on camera.
Man dies after crashing into a pack of wild hogs, authorities say
STEPHENS COUNTY, Okla. (KSWO/Gray News) — A man in Oklahoma died after driving into a pack of wild hogs. The crash happened sometime between Wednesday night and the early hours of Thursday morning. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it does not know the exact time of the crash. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Roger Gregory Cummings, 63, was driving west on Sandhill Road in Stephens County when he drove into about 10 wild hogs.

CAIRO (AP) — The U.S. military on Saturday said it struck three Iranian oil tankers after Navy warships were targeted with missiles, warning that it would “if necessary, destroy Iran’s limited and exposed oil fleet.” The military’s statement said a U.S. aircraft carrier and a destroyer evaded “multiple unprovoked Iranian attacks” while patrolling in the region and no U.S. personnel were hurt. It said two Iranian oil carriers were “permanently disabled” and the third, unladen one, was destroyed.

KATHMANDU, Nepal (AP) — Rescuers in Nepal pulled out a Chinese man and a woman in separate operations Saturday, 10 days after devastating floods hit the country, as teams continued searching for thousands of missing people. The man was rescued from a hydropower tunnel, according to a social media post by the country’s prime minister’s office, bringing the total to three workers pulled alive from the Trishuli hydropower project. Two Nepalese workers were rescued on Friday.

High school football coach fired after alleged road rage shooting
MESA, Ariz. (KPHO/Gray News) — A high school football coach in Arizona has been fired after police say he fired a gun during a road rage dispute. Mesa authorities say Natrell “Natal” Curtis, 34, was arrested Wednesday and booked on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, disorderly conduct with a deadly weapon and unlawful discharge of a firearm. The reported shooting occurred on Aug. 21 near Country Club Drive and Juanita Avenue.
Dolly Parton gets a new Hollywood Walk of Fame star
LOS ANGELES (CNN) — Dolly Parton has a new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, replacing one that had been in place for more than 40 years. The replacement follows reports that someone had vandalized Parton’s old star following her death, and repairs were said to have already been planned. The old star had endured 42 years of foot traffic, and wear was visible on the iconic Hollywood star. Workers removed the old star and began constructing a new one in the same spot on Hollywood Boulevard.
