BEAUMONT (KFDM) — At a time where summer camps, vacation Bible schools, retreats and other seasonal events are in full swing, a Beaumont church is preparing for its own. New Day Deliverance Holiness Church of Beaumont will host its annual Summer Explosion & Holy Convocation. The New Day Rodeo Round-Up is the first event on June 13 at 10:00 a.m. at New Day Deliverance Holiness Church, 1310 Van Buren, Beaumont, TX 77701.

BEAUMONT (KFDM) — For the first time, the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas launched its "Paint the Town Blue" initiative to announce semifinalists for the newly-branded Diamond Awards for Excellence. The organization chose to transition from the Torch Awards, which annually honors businesses that adhere to BBB ethics, to a more competitive program. Semifinalists were surprised at their company buildings or offices after a news conference at the BBB office on Laurel Avenue.
