Donald Trump Jr. was fact-checked live on-air Monday by NewsNation host Connell McShane after claiming the suspect in a deadly Minnesota shooting was a Democrat. Trump Jr. appeared on NewsNation Now when the discussion turned to political violence in the US, days after Minnesota State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband were fatally shot in their Brooklyn Park home. Authorities say the suspected gunman, Vance Boelter, also shot State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife in a related attack. Both survived.
