What does it mean to be a journalist?

Work hard and smart, try to rid yourself your pre-conceptions, always dig as deep as you can and don't take no for an answer.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Anytime, via email, phone, twitter or Skype.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Anything that makes my job quicker + easier, but nothing just for gadget's sake: iphone, laptop, voice recorder, SLR and Skype are essential.

Why did you become a journalist?

I always wanted to be at the forefront of news and tell the world's untold stories.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Secretly entering Malawi to undercover the inhumane conditions of child tobacco laborers.
