my first newsroom only had computers for the copy desk. reporters used typewriters. forced you to organize before writing.
How is social media changing news?
social media has both created news (the dress is white and gold) and revved up the news gathering process. that's both good and bad.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
it's an amazing opportunity and a sobering responsibility. you have to stay focused on the readers.
