The deadline to apply for a scholarship from the Douglas Timber Operators is approaching quickly. DTO will award three $2,500 scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year. Applicants must be residents of Douglas, Coos or Lane counties and plan to pursue a degree in a natural resource-related field. Eligible students may attend any accredited public or private post-secondary institution in Oregon or out of state. Applications are available at www.dougtimber.org.
