1. How do you determine what charges should be filed in a case? Each case is based upon the evidence submitted by law enforcement. I have an ethical obligation to only file charges that are supported by sufficient evidence to obtain a conviction. The evidence and applicable statutes are reviewed to determine what charges can be proven and should be filed. 2. What factors determine plea bargain decisions? Many factors come into play when determining a plea offer.
