Abstract This study presents a disruptive, non-invasive diagnostic framework for the high-resolution electromagnetic characterization of sinusoidally modulated High Impedance Surfaces (HIS). Traditional near-field scanning techniques, while standardized, are inherently limited by probe-induced field perturbations and restricted spatial throughput.

Abstract This paper presents the design, fabrication, and performance analysis of a high-gain, broadband circularly polarized (CP) Fabry–Perot cavity (FPC) antenna tailored for vehicular communication applications. The proposed antenna employs a frequency-selective surface (FSS)-based partially reflective surface (PRS) superstrate, fabricated on Rogers 5880 substrate, to enhance gain and 3-dB gain bandwidth.

Achieving high-Q resonances in photonics is crucial for devices such as sensors, filters, and emitters of electromagnetic radiation. One effective strategy for achieving such resonances involves the bound state in the continuum effect (BIC). In this paper, we demonstrate a comprehensive study of the BIC in complementary planar Babinet metamaterials in a microwave regime.
