UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer had four players earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Honors. Seniors Lainey Garbarz (Pinckney, Mich. / Father Gabriel Richard HS) and Rileigh Garbarz (Pinckney, Mich. / Father Gabriel Richard HS) along with sophomores Gracie Cwik (Bartlett, Ill. / Bartlett HS) and Emily Kolodin (Grand Blanc, Mich. / Grand Blanc HS). The honors come from their success on the field and in the classroom.

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer team punched its ticket to the GLIAC Semifinals with a thrilling 1–0 double-overtime victory over Davenport University on Tuesday afternoon at Robert C. Braddock Field. The Cardinals (12–5–2) dominated possession and outshot the Panthers 28–5 but needed nearly 106 minutes before breaking through. SVSU outshot DU 9-3 in the first half, 10-1 in the second half, but both teams were still scoreless.

ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer team wrapped up the regular season on Saturday afternoon, falling 2–1 to No. 6 Grand Valley State at the GVSU Soccer Field. The Cardinals (11–5–2, 9–4–1 GLIAC) needed a point on the day to claim second place in the GLIAC, but with the loss and a win for Parkside, the Rangers tied SVSU and had the heads up tiebreaker to take the number two seed.
