UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer had four players earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Honors. Seniors Lainey Garbarz (Pinckney, Mich. / Father Gabriel Richard HS) and Rileigh Garbarz (Pinckney, Mich. / Father Gabriel Richard HS) along with sophomores Gracie Cwik (Bartlett, Ill. / Bartlett HS) and Emily Kolodin (Grand Blanc, Mich. / Grand Blanc HS). The honors come from their success on the field and in the classroom.

KENOSHA, Wis. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer program continued the road trip as they matched up against Parkside Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals (4-4-3, 2-2-3 GLIAC) drew 1-1 against the Rangers (2-5-4, 0-3-4 GLIAC) for their second-straight 1-1 tie. Lainey Garbarz started in goal for the Cardinals and stopped five of the six shots she faced in the highly offensive match. SVSU led in shots 20-16 and shots on goal 8-6.

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer program dropped their first game of the season 4-1 against Truman State University at Stokes Stadium Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals (1-1-0) took a 1-0 lead into halftime before the Bulldogs (1-1-0) scored four unanswered in the second half. Saginaw Valley outshot Truman 11 to seven and seven to six on shots on goal. They also led in the set pieces with nine corner kicks to the Bulldogs five.
