Lale Arikoglu is a journalist based in Brooklyn. Previously, she was managing editor of the New York Observer where she got to interview everyone from David Miliband on the refugee crisis in Europe, to the poet and author Eileen Myles about her love of New York City. Growing up in London, she spent summers in Istanbul, and her favorite destinations include Mexico City, Paris and Antigua. She hopes to make a pilgrimage to Ischia, Italy this year after obsessively reading Elena Ferrante.
