The use of electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), alternatively called vapour or electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) have gained traction as an alternative to smoking in recent years. Public Health England (PHE) state that at best estimate the use of e-cigarettes are 95% less harmful than conventional cigarette smoking (McNeill et al., 2015).
