While most of my career has been in the entire lifestyle realm, in the last few years I have concentrated on writing pieces on trends in food and the restaurant scene, and beauty, wellness, and spas.
A graduate of the French culinary school La Varenne, I earned a grande diplôme in cuisine and pastry and worked for a few years in the hospitality industry.
I was awarded the James Beard Award in 1997 for my radio show, Food Talk with Laurann Claridge, based in Houston. We covered the topics of food, wine, spirits, entertaining, and restaurants.
