The effects of neurotoxin and soft tissue fillers on gender perception in transgender individuals: A pilot prospective survey-based study

To the Editor: To our knowledge, this study is the first of its kind to investigate the effects of neurotoxin and soft tissue fillers on gender perception and quality of life in transgender individuals. Despite the study's limited sample size, all 9 subjects reported improvement after treatment (64% response rate). The institutional review board of Asentral, Inc approved this study. Written informed consent was obtained from all subjects.
