In this time marked by political polarization and heightened emotions, the Vermont League of Cities and Towns got it right. On Oct. 8 South Burlington hosted the annual VLCT Town Fair, the event that brings together several hundred municipal officials from throughout Vermont. The highlight was the keynote address, which set the tone for the day and, I hope, will continue to influence healthy community dialogue and debate throughout our city and state.
