So many ways to revive a game, and yet, so little fighting games brought back to life. The history of fighting games is as varied as the methods used to preserve it, a tyranny of choice that impacts which games and even how these games see new life. Video game preservation is a common talking point with the growth of digital marketplaces, but fighting games specifically struggle with proper methodology in preserving their history.

So, I’ve been a wrestling fan since I was a young boy in the 90s during the heart of the Monday Night Wars, but there’s one thing that has always eluded me in my fandom. For all of the shows I’ve seen on TV, PPV, iPPV, streaming services, PLEs, and every other method, I had never been to a wrestling show live. I’d heard a lot about those experiences, but for one reason or another, I’d just never been able to make that trip.
