Mitochondrial-derived vesicles drive budding-type fission of damaged lysosomes
Abstract Lysosomes are central degradative organelles essential for cellular homeostasis, yet the mechanisms that maintain their integrity and function under stress remain incompletely understood. Here we identify a previously unrecognized lysosomal renewal process, termed budding-type fission (B-fission), which restores lysosomal function during hypoxia–reoxygenation stress.
California’s evolving debate over dry needling safety and training | Opinion Original
Dry needling was codified by the American Medical Association as an acceptable form of therapy in 2016. Assembly Bill 2497 would let physical therapists perform dry needling in California without acupuncture-level training, raising safety and pneumothorax concerns. In recent years, a quasi-therapeutic practice known as dry needling has gained visibility in physical therapy and sports medicine settings.

The Genetic Link Between Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia and Depression/Anxiety Disorders: A Two‐Sample Mendelian Randomization Study
1 Introduction Primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an acquired autoimmune hemorrhagic disorder characterized by isolated thrombocytopenia with heterogeneous immunopathogenesis. The pathophysiology involves immune-mediated excessive platelet destruction in the mononuclear-phagocyte system and compromised megakaryocyte maturation, collectively contributing to thrombocytopenia [1].
A driving feel oriented dynamic model for commercial vehicles - Scientific Reports
Abstract Virtual testing and evaluation of commercial vehicles require an accurate and comprehensive dynamic model to replace traditional driver-based field testing, thereby shortening the development cycle of commercial vehicles. However, existing dynamic models of commercial vehicles cannot accurately simulate the driving feel, making it difficult to address and optimize problems during the development stage.

Real-Time Cardiac Abnormality Monitoring and Nursing for Patient Using Electrocardiographic Signals
Cardiovascular disease is one of the most rampant causes of death around the world and was deemed as a major illness in Middle and Old ages. Coronary artery disease, in particular, is a widespread cardiovascular malady entailing high mortality rates. Angiography is, more often than not, regarded as the best method for the diagnosis of coronary artery disease; on the other hand, it is associated with high costs and major side effects.

Preparation of amphiphilic poly(divinylbenzene-co-N-vinylpyrrolidone)-functionalized polydopamine magnetic nanoadsorbents for enrichment of synthetic cannabinoids in wastewater Concerns have been raised about synthetic cannabinoids (SCs), which are among the most often trafficked and used illegal substances. An analytical method that holds promise for determining illicit drug use in the general population is wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE).

Flow Characteristics of Liquid Jet in Transverse Shear Crossflow
1. Introduction The liquid-injection method is used to deliver lubricating oil in aero engines, especially in the under-race lubrication structure. Lubricating oil is injected into the oil collector and transmitted to the bearing inner ring through an internal channel. Under the influence of centrifugal force and pressure, oil flows into the bearing cavity through the hole in the inner ring.

The Deubiquitylase OTUB1 Mediates Ferroptosis via Stabilization of SLC7A11
Molecular Cell Biology Tong Liu, Le Jiang, Omid Tavana and Wei Gu DOI: 10.1158/0008-5472.CAN-18-3037 Published April 2019 Abstract Although cell-cycle arrest, senescence, and apoptosis are established mechanisms of tumor suppression, accumulating evidence reveals that ferroptosis, an iron-dependent, nonapoptotic form of cell death, represents a new regulatory pathway in suppressing tumor development.
