A robust resilience improvement method for distribution network based on pre-layout and dynamic scheduling of grid-forming mobile energy storage
Abstract To enhance the resilience of distribution networks (DN) against extreme disasters, this paper proposes a robust resilience improvement method based on the pre-layout and dynamic scheduling of grid-forming mobile energy storage (GF-MES). The method follows a pre-disaster defense (PD) and post-disaster recovery (PR) framework.
Robust multi-label ECG classification: a deep learning framework for concurrent arrhythmias with clinical generalizability
Abstract Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals play a critical role in the clinical screening and diagnosis of various cardiovascular diseases. Although computer-aided diagnostic technologies have alleviated the burden on clinicians, the variability, complexity, and class imbalance of ECG data still pose significant challenges to multi-label arrhythmia classification.

A risk-stratified framework for in-house PLA 3D printing of non-critical medical device spare parts: a cost-effectiveness analysis
Abstract Background: Procurement of non-critical medical device spare parts faces major challenges. These include high costs, long lead times, and supply chain fragility. In-house additive manufacturing (AM), specifically Polylactic Acid (PLA) Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), offers a potential solution but lacks systematic safety and economic validation.

Harnessing Multiple Roles of CO for Asymmetric Carbonylative Synthesis of Long-Range Axially Chiral Cycloalkylidenes and Amino Acids Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Long-range axially chiral carbonyl-containing cycloalkylidenes, particularly amino acids, represent an important class of chiral structures, yet their direct construction via catalytic asymmetric carbonylation remains challenging. Here, we report a Pd-catalyzed asymmetric allylic carbonylation that enables the efficient synthesis of long-range axially chiral cycloalkylidene-based carbonyl compounds.
Multimorbidity and its associations with physical function, fall risk, and hospitalization cost in adults with type 1 diabetes: a cross-sectional study
Abstract Background: Multiple long-term conditions co-occur in people with type 1 diabetes. We aim to investigate the association between comorbidities and physical function, fall risk and hospitalization cost. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. Adult patients with type 1 diabetes admitted between 2021 and 2025 were included. Prevalence of each morbidity was compared in people with different diabetes duration.
A fungal nuclease effector subverts the chloroplast genome and triggers cell death to promote infection
Abstract The hemibiotrophic fungus Magnaporthe oryzae causes rice blast, a devastating plant disease, by transitioning from biotrophic to necrotrophic growth, which triggers host cell death. This trophic shift is essential for nutrient acquisition and disease progression, culminating in conidiation. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying this transition are not well understood.
The Cognitive benefits of nitrate in patients with alcohol use disorder: unraveling the oral microbiome ectopic colonization pathway
Abstract Our prior research revealed that dietary nitrate (NO₃⁻) may mitigate alcohol-induced cognitive impairment through oral microbiota modulation and attenuation of inflammatory responses in mice. While alcohol use disorder (AUD) is known to associate with cognitive decline and gut dysbiosis, the therapeutic potential of nitrate supplementation in ameliorating these effects remains to be elucidated.
Malic enzyme 2 suppresses PINK1-Parkin-mediated mitophagy by stabilizing ATAD3A via competitive interaction with TRIM25
Abstract Malic enzyme 2 (ME2), a pivotal enzyme related to the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, has been implicated in multiple cancers due to its overexpression and metabolic role in regulating the NADP+/NADPH balance. Malic enzyme 2 has been reported to regulate mitochondrial biogenesis and fusion; however, whether malic enzyme 2 participates in mitophagy regulation has remained unclear. Here, we reported that malic enzyme 2 depletion enhances PINK1-Parkin-mediated mitophagy.

Probing degradation of Cobalt-free LiNi 0.5 Mn 1.5 O 4 ceramic cathode in lithium-ion batteries
Abstract High-voltage LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 (LNMO) cathode is a promising option for transition to sustainable and cost-effective cobalt-free cathodes, and ceramic cathodes can substantially increase energy density by enabling higher active material loading. However, there need to better apprehend fundamental aspects about the sintering modification and degradation mechanism of LNMO ceramic based lithium-ion batteries (LIBs).

Genomic adaptation strategies to habitat switching in Korarchaeota
Abstract Korarchaeota, an ancient lineage of archaea, has long been overlooked in discussions of archaeal and eukaryotic evolution. Their physiology and evolutionary history have remained enigmatic due to their rarity in natural environments. Here, we assembled 101 Korarchaeota genomes from different seafloor hydrothermal vents and terrestrial hot springs, revealing that Korarchaeota lineages have undergone multiple transitions between marine and terrestrial habitats.

Strong yet superelastic ceramic aerogel enabled by synergistic soft-hard inter-nanowire nodes - Nature Communications
Abstract Elastic ceramic aerogels have drawn broad attention for use in aerospace, energy storage, and thermal protection systems, where lightweight structures with thermal stability and mechanical robustness are required. Yet their practical application is often limited by insufficient strength. Achieving both high strength and high elasticity in ceramic nanowire aerogels remains challenging because these properties are typically mutually constrained.

Delayed crystallization response-inspired waterborne polyurethane with high performance - Nature Communications
Abstract Waterborne polyurethane elastomers (WPUE), synthesized in aqueous solutions, represent a revolutionary sustainable alternative to thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers (TPUE), which are typically produced using organic solvent. This shift significantly reduces VOC emissions. However, WPUE often lacks the mechanical strength of TPUE produced through traditional synthetic methods, limiting its potential as a sustainable option.

Brain Characteristics in Patients With Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody‐Associated Disorder by 7.0 Tesla MRI
1 Introduction Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) is a recently recognized and independent disease entity. MOGAD is typically associated with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, optic neuritis, or transverse myelitis. The presence of high titers (≥ 1:100) of MOG immunoglobulin G in serum (MOG-IgG) is unique to MOGAD [1, 2].
Secure H∞ bipartite synchronisation of jumping cooperation-competition networks subject to cyber-attacks
Abstract In this article, the issue of secure H∞ bipartite synchronisation is investigated for a class of cooperation-competition networks. Firstly, to model scenarios involving changes in network topology, a cooperation-competition network model is developed that incorporates topology switching, where the switching process follows the rules of a semi-Markov jump process.

Synergistic biodegradation of polyethylene by experimentally evolved bacterial biofilms
Abstract Polyethylene, one of the most widely used synthetic polymers, presents significant environmental challenges due to its resistance to biodegradation. Its surface offers a unique ecological niche for microbial colonization and serves as a primary habitat for degrading microorganisms. Despite the pivotal role microbial communities play in plastic degradation, there has been limited research on constructing stable, interacting microbial consortia.
