OCEAN SPRINGS, MS — Before a customer ever walks through the door, a business’s sign is already speaking for it — and a new Ocean Springs shop is built around getting that first impression right. A new signage and branding business in Ocean Springs will mark its official opening next week with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce–Main Street–Tourism Bureau.

OCEAN SPRINGS, MS — Board members voted Tuesday night to change the City of Ocean Springs’ official logo, approving an update that adds the year “1699” back into the design — a historical reference Mayor Bobby Cox said he felt strongly about restoring. The city’s logo has changed, been modified, and shaded in various colors over the years, but Mayor Cox told aldermen the founding year has long been an important part of Ocean Springs’ identity and deserved a visible place in the city’s branding.
