I’ve had a lifelong love affair with coffee. At 5 years old, I remember begging my grandmother for a cup because I found the aroma to be so intoxicating that I had to try it. “Just a half-cup,” she would say, proceeding to mix a concoction of what can only be described as sweetened coffee-flavored milk. That moment was the catalyst for what would become, many years later, a daily ritual.
