She has held staff positions at Architectural Digest and Metropolis magazine, and has contributed to publications including the New York Times, The Architect's Newspaper, Interior Design, and The Slowdown, as well as several books. In fall 2025, she launched the digital publication Wrong House, which publishes monthly and covers the way we live with design now.

Great architecture evolves—just take 550 Madison Avenue. In 1984, architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee completed the 37-story office tower as the Manhattan headquarters of AT&T. Clad in pink granite, the midtown skyscraper slyly reinterpreted classical forms, with three sections that evoked ancient Greek columns and a pediment interrupted by a circular opening.
