1 day ago When your fit could use some warmth and considerably more sauce, throw on a big, burly flannel that won’t bully your bank account. There are those out there that would argue there is no bad time to wear a flannel shirt. Fine. But even those brave, presumably sweaty souls would have to concede that …

The island hideaway built for people ‘bored with the Maldives’
Riau Islands, Indonesia (CNN) — An urgent message lit up phones around the island: it was baby sea turtle o’clock. Bawah, a resort island in a remote stretch of Indonesia, has a sea turtle protection program. Three resident marine biologists travel around the archipelago, collecting sea turtle eggs before monitor lizards have a chance to eat them. The eggs are re-nested on one of the resort’s beaches in a protective covered hut, then monitored closely for signs of hatching.

Getting naked in the world’s largest department store Original
In the US, a mall is a place to get a slice of pizza from Sbarro and buy some T-shirts at the Gap. But in South Korea, it’s a place where you can experience a jjimjilbang, the country’s unique spa culture. Premium spas can be found tucked inside the country’s many modern mega-malls, but none are quite as memorable as the one waiting in the southern coastal city of Busan. This brilliant silver and white structure could easily be mistaken for a high-end condo building or a design museum.

This artist’s most-used tool isn’t a paintbrush — it’s a pair of sneakers Original
In the top corner, there’s a very small Star of David. On the center right side, the number 51. Near the center, a pentagon. Squint and you might notice a teeny-tiny series of music notes amid a busy grid. And, wait, is that the US Capitol missing its dome? British artist Gareth Fuller doesn’t make the kinds of maps you’d find in an atlas. They’re not done to scale and don’t include street names.
