Lillian Ali’s Biography
I'm a writer, illustrator, and crossword constructor. I am passionate about taking big concepts --- like science, law and data --- and breaking them down for the everyday reader. My writing has appeared in the Daily Northwestern, the Wall Street Journal, the Dayton Daily News and Smithsonian Magazine.
In addition to writing, I illustrate and design for the Daily Northwestern. I was co-designer on the April 29, 2024 issue of the Daily Northwestern that was honored by the Illinois College Press Association, Associated Collegiate Press and the College Media Awards.
