Parole violator wanted, believed to be hiding in Saskatchewan

SASKATCHEWAN — A 24-year-old man who violated his parole conditions is believed to be in Saskatchewan, according to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers. Keaston Pambrun’s last known location is Calgary, Alberta. Pambrun was denied full parole by the Parole Board of Canada on Dec. 4, 2025, and had strict conditions imposed on his statutory release. The board cited his “problematic institutional conduct” and lack of a viable release plan as factors in their decision.

Saskatoon man sentenced to two years for fatal 2024 crash

SASKATOON – A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to two years in custody for a fatal high-speed collision that killed one woman and left another paralyzed. Wylie Gunnar Vermette was sentenced late Friday afternoon in Saskatoon Court of King’s Bench. The judge accepted the joint sentencing submission from the Crown and defence that was presented in April. A trial was previously scheduled to start on Jan. 19, but on Jan.

Wanted Alberta man suspected to be in Saskatchewan

SASKATCHEWAN ‑ Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers has released a photo of an Alberta man wanted for being unlawfully at large and are asking the public to report any sightings, as he is suspected to be in Saskatchewan. His last known location is Edmonton, Alta. Kyle Lajimodiere, 26, was serving a federal sentence of three years, nine months and 14 days for a series of violent offences including assault with a weapon, dangerous driving, flight from police, and possession of stolen property.
