Venezuelan investigative journalist with extensive experience in print and digital media in Venezuela and transnational collaborative projects. For her stories into corruption, organized crime, extractivist and human rights violations, she has been awarded the national investigative journalism award from the Press and Society Institute (IPYS), an award from the Latin American Conference of Investigative Journalism (Colpin), and the Gabo Award of journalism and award of excellence from the Inter-American Press Association (Sip), ONA and Fetisov. She graduated from the Andrés Bello Catholic University of Caracas, she has postgraduate studies from the Simón Bolívar University of Caracas and the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, Spain. She was a 2016 CDDLR Draper Hills Summer Fellow at Stanford University. Currently, she coordinates the research unit of the digital medium Runrun.es in Caracas as well as the investigative projects of the Alianza Rebelde Investiga (ARI) formed by Runrunes, El Pitazo, and TalCual.
