Speed, mostly. There's so much competition to be first. It's all about finding unique angles.

Patti Robinson in 'Good Girls Revolt,' a short-lived Amazon series.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
I default to my first journalism professor: A journalist's obligation is to the truth.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Gmail, Google Docs/Spreadsheets, etc. Asana, Wordpress, Slack. Audio/video recording. That's about it.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter. It's a cesspool, but I can't live without it.

Elizabeth Warren or Kristen Bell.
Why did you become a journalist?
I love to write, and I have a passion for uncovering the truth (which is probably why I watched so many detective shows growing up).

My more personal stories on my blog. Or anything I wrote about the 'Me Too' movement for Screen Rant/Showbiz Cheat Sheet.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't do it. Just kidding, but honestly: It's a very difficult field. You're going to face a lot of criticism. Learn to take it.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Watching TV. Or outside.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
Vulture, The Daily Beast, and Nerdist.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That entertainment is frivolous. And that anyone can be a critic.
