Harnessing chloride to drive catalyst reconstruction for durable and efficient seawater electrolysis
Abstract Direct seawater electrolysis offers an attractive route for sustainable hydrogen production, yet its practical implementation remains constrained by the corrosive nature of chlorion (Cl−). Here, we reveal that trace amounts of Cl−, rather than being detrimental, can play a constructive role in directing the structural evolution of transition-metal catalysts.

Challenges to research progression among part-time master’s students in nursing in China: a qualitative descriptive study
Abstract Introduction: Since 2017, master’s programs in nursing in China have admitted part-time candidates who remain in full-time clinical employment throughout their studies. Slow research progress among these students has become a recognized concern. In this study, slow research progress is conceptualized as a phenomenon arising from the interplay of conditions across several levels. Its observable marker is sustained delay in thesis-related milestones.
Too stressed to cope? A multiple mediation analysis of social bonds, sleep quality, and sleep disturbances in relation to prescription drug use among Chinese high school seniors
Abstract Amid rising concerns about stress and pharmacological coping among adolescents, this study investigated whether perceived stress is associated with the prescription drug use among Chinese high school seniors (CHS), and whether this association is mediated by social bonds, perceived sleep quality, and sleep disturbances. Drawing on general strain theory and social bond theory, a multiple mediation model integrating psychosocial and sleep-related mechanisms was proposed.

Edge-hosted Fe single-atomic sites fabricated by a Bi-assisted pyrolysis strategy for electroreduction of CO2
Edge-hosted Fe single-atomic sites fabricated by a Bi-assisted pyrolysis strategy for electroreduction of CO2 We develop a Bi-assisted pyrolysis method to fabricate rich-edge N-doped carbon anchored with Fe active sites using Fe-doped Bi-MOF as a precursor. During pyrolysis, Bi aggregation forms edge-rich nanobelts, while the subsequent Bi evaporation generates mesopores, increasing edge-hosted Fe site density.

Metal‐Organic Frameworks as a New Platform to Construct Ordered Mesoporous Ce‐Based Oxides for Efficient CO2 Fixation under Ambient Conditions
Abstract Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are proved to be good precursors to derive various nanomaterials with desirable functions, but so far the controllable synthesis of ordered mesoporous derivatives from MOFs has not been achieved. Herein, this work reports, for the first time, the construction of MOF-derived ordered mesoporous (OM) derivatives by developing a facile mesopore-inherited pyrolysis-oxidation strategy.

Superior bifunctional cobalt/nitrogen-codoped carbon nanosheet arrays on copper foam promising stable energy-saving hydrogen production accompanied with glucose upgrading
Superior bifunctional cobalt/nitrogen-codoped carbon nanosheet arrays on copper foam promising stable energy-saving hydrogen production accompanied with glucose upgrading Yu Xin, Fengliang Wang, Liyu Chen, Yingwei Li and Kui Shen Abstract The electrocatalytic overall water splitting is a sustainable method to produce renewable hydrogen energy, but its industrial-scale application is limited by the high energy consumption caused by the high overpotential.
Highlights • A new locus Tof18 (SOC1a) controlling soybean flowering time was identified by GWAS • SOC1a has stronger effects on flowering time and stem node number than SOC1b • SOC1 genes contribute to floral induction in both the leaves and shoot apex • Distinct Tof18 alleles promote latitudinal adaptation of cultivated soybeans Summary Soybean (Glycine max) grows in a wide range of latitudes, but it is extremely sensitive to photoperiod, which reduces its yield and ability to adapt to...

Non-Viral Vector-Mediated Gene Therapy for ALS: Challenges and Future Perspectives
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a devastating neurodegenerative disease, for which no effective treatment is yet available to either slow or terminate it. Recent advances in gene therapy renew hope for developing an effective approach to control this disease. Non-viral vectors, such as lipid- and polymer-based nanoparticles, cationic polymers, and exosomes, can effectively transfer genes into primary neurons.

Controllable design of tunable nanostructures inside metal-organic frameworks
The controllable encapsulation of nanoentities (such as metal nanoparticles, quantum dots, polyoxometalates, organic and metallorganic molecules, biomacromolecules, and metal–organic polyhedra) into metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) to form composite materials has attracted significant research interest in a variety of fields. These composite materials not only exhibit the properties of both the nanoentities and the MOFs but also display unique and synergistic functionalities.
A covalent organic framework-based route to in-situ encapsulation of metal nanoparticles in N-rich hollow carbon spheres
Metal nanoparticles (NPs) encapsulated in hollow nanostructures hold great promise for a variety of applications. Herein, we demonstrate a new concept that covalent organic frameworks (COFs) doped with metal cations can be readily used as novel precursors for in-situ encapsulation of metal NPs into N doped hollow carbon spheres (NHCS) through a controlled carbonization process.
