Have you ever used a typewriter?
Nope, I've never used one before, but I would love to one day.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I mostly use Google Workspace, but I am always open to learning new software and tools.
What's your favorite social network?
My favorite social network is Discord. I’ve met a lot of great and interesting people there and I’m very familiar with the app’s layout.
Why did you become a journalist?
I've always been passionate about storytelling in all its forms and that passion led me to the journalism field.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Unfortunately no. At the time, I was more focused on a STEM career path and had not yet chosen to pursue my passion.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Honestly, I'm proud of all my writing. If my work contains mistakes, it is an opportunity to learn and improve.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Never give up and always keep trying. If this is what you want to do, the struggle will be worth it.
What's your favorite drink?
My favorite drink, so far, is a mint chocolate chip milkshake. I'm a sucker for ice-cream, so it's hard to say no to such a beverage.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
The New York Times.
