Hello, there! My name is Logan Stanley and I'm a 28-year-old graduate student in the Sports Journalism Master of Arts program at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. Currently, I am a sports reporter for The State Press, ASU’s independent, student-led newspaper.

Snowflake High School's Ryder Hall wins Arizona Boys Gatorade POY

Ryder Hall has made history. Hall, who recently graduated from Snowflake High, was named the 2025-26 Arizona Gatorade Boys Track and Field Player of the Year. He is the first-ever athlete from Snowflake to win the award for track and field. The versatile athlete was the state’s best jumper this past school year, leading the state in the high jump (6 feet, 10 inches) and triple jump (48-11.5) and No. 2 for the long jump (23-11).
