“Sorry to customers who booked me in,” said former plumber Hannah Spencer as her party won its first ever by-election, “but I’m heading to Westminster.” The Greens’ newest MP has pulled off a remarkable win. With nearly 15,000 votes, she was more than 5,000 ahead of Labour's Angeliki Stogia in what should been a safe seat for the government. Reform UK’s candidate Matt Goodwin came second, with 9,364 votes. For the Greens, this is a historic result.

Abstract Eosinophils are involved in host protection against multicellular organisms including helminths and often participate in regulating long-lasting humoral responses. However, their recruitment to the gut-draining mesenteric lymph node (mLN), where they support the development of the adaptive immune response is still elusive. Here, we demonstrate the mechanism underlying the recruitment of eosinophils to the murine mLN post gastrointestinal helminth infection.
