Because stories don't have to be profitable to be powerful and important.

I was published in the school's literary journal and a finalist in a regional young playwright competition.

Difficult to say. Very few pitches become stories, series, or projects. So anything that becomes something is a good pitch.

A pyramid scheme claiming to be a group supporting young entrepreneurs.
