Officials identified a man who died on Wednesday in an apparent drowning off Nantasket Beach in Hull. Robert Nolan, 76, of Hull, was found unresponsive floating in the waters off the beach, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office. Authorities pronounced him deceased at about 8:40 p.m. while still at the scene. No foul play is currently suspected in the incident, the district attorney's office said.
