Tracy Stallard, a former pitcher who played with the Boston Red Sox, has died. He died at Holston Valley Medical Center, in Virginia, the New York Times reports. He was 80. Stallard is best known for having given up Roger Maris' 61st home run in the final game of the 1961 season, breaking Babe Ruth's 60-homer season record for the New York Yankees. "I don't have any shame at all," Stallard said of the game, the Times reports, citing their archives.
