More storms, hazardous heat keep First Warns through Fan Fest

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A line of potent storms passed through last night, bringing severe weather to some, especially south and west of Kansas City. These storms used up the fuel storms need to go severe, so the risk has dropped dramatically. That said, a few scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible through the morning commute. Additional rain could bring a few spots of flooding. We should dry out before lunchtime, then we get very hot, humid, and mostly sunny.

Double Whammy: Heat & Humidity brings multiple First Warns

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - It’s a hot, humid, and at times stormy stretch ahead. First Warns Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; each brings hazardous heat and chances of strong-to-severe storms. Week of June 8 Monday morning starts with partly to mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 60s. A 30% chance for isolated rain is possible early in the day. Skies will clear by the afternoon, leading to some sun and hot conditions.

First Warns for Weekend Storms, Intense Heat for Fan Fest

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - We have two forms of weather that will likely impact plans outside, as we are highlighting both this weekend and Fan Fest with First Warns. This weekend brings storms at times, causing potential disruptions to outdoor activities. Neither day is a washout, but heavy rain and strong storms are possible. Then our eyes turn to next week, and especially the kickoff of World Cup activities. The latest data is in, and it looks very hot.
