KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Friday is now a First Warn as thunderstorms develop this afternoon and evening, with some possibly becoming strong to severe. That said, much of the day will be dry before the storms pose a risk. The morning starts on a quiet note with a mix of sun and clouds and comfortable temperatures. We are hotter this afternoon with highs in the upper 80s. It will feel like the mid-90s with a bump in humidity. Afternoon and Evening Storm Threat We have two potential rounds of storms.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Patchy fog will create a tricky start to Thursday morning, but conditions improve steadily through the day with sunshine and seasonable warmth taking over by midday. Early morning: Patchy fog may reduce visibility below one mile in some spots, especially where the ground remains wet from Wednesday’s rain. If you’re heading out for the morning commute, be prepared for quickly changing visibility and drive with caution. This should lift out by 9 am.

WEDNESDAY MORNING: STORMS FADE, ROADS STAY WET Rain and thunderstorms continue through the early morning hours, then gradually ease through mid-morning. Wet roads and pockets of heavy rain could slow your commute, so drive carefully.
