The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism has launched a fall promotion called It’s More Bahamas Season, giving North American travelers $250 in instant savings on new air-inclusive vacation packages booked for the season ahead. The offer applies to bookings of four consecutive nights _or longer, made between July 15 and August 15, 2026, for travel originating in the United States and Canada. Travel must take place between August 15 and November 15, 2026.

Independence Day travel is on pace to set another record this year, with 72.2 million Americans expected to travel at least 50 miles from home this week, according to AAA. That surpasses last year’s record of 71.8 million, though the margin is narrower than in recent years. Last week’s Caribbean Travel Marketplace (CTM), hosted by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) in collaboration with the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, gathered more than 500 delegates from across the Caribbean, North America, Europe and Latin America to strengthen the future of Caribbean tourism.
