Arterial occlusive events (AOE) are specific adverse events observed in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) who are treated with tyrosine kinase inhibitors. We present the case of a 47-year-old female patient with CML who was treated with ponatinib and manifested AOEs in the bilateral middle cerebral arteries, which occurred atypically.
