The emission of interpulses by a 6.45-h-period coherent radio transient - Nature Astronomy
Abstract Long-period radio transients are a new class of astronomical objects characterized by prolonged periods ranging from 18 min to 54 min. They exhibit highly polarized, coherent, beamed radio emission lasting only 10–100 s. The intrinsic nature of these objects is subject to speculation, with highly magnetized white dwarfs and neutron stars being the prevailing candidates. Here we present ASKAP J183950.5−075635.0, boasting the longest known period of this class at 6.45 h.
Periodic radio and X-ray emission from an accreting white dwarf binary

Abstract Long-period radio transients (LPTs) are coherent bursts of polarized radio emission that repeat periodically on timescales of minutes to hours. Little is known about the physical origins of these systems. Astronomers have proposed magnetars that rotate slowly and white dwarfs that rapidly orbit with a companion star as potential explanations. While several recent examples appear to support the latter hypothesis, the mechanism generating these bright radio pulses remains poorly understood.

An emission-state-switching radio transient with a 54-minute period - Nature Astronomy
Abstract Long-period radio transients are an emerging class of extreme astrophysical events of which only three are known. These objects emit highly polarized, coherent pulses of typically a few tens of seconds duration, and minutes to approximately hour-long periods. Although magnetic white dwarfs and magnetars, either isolated or in binary systems, have been invoked to explain these objects, a consensus has not emerged.

Single-cell profiling of human dura and meningioma reveals cellular meningeal landscape and insights into meningioma immune response - Genome Medicine
Experimental design The objective of this study was to characterize the cellular composition of human dura and meningioma at a single-cell resolution. The study design involved performing 3′ and 5′ single-cell RNA sequencing, with V(D) J enrichment for select samples, in addition to imaging mass cytometry and immunohistochemistry. Patient recruitment and sample collection Adult patients undergoing neurosurgical intervention at Barnes-Jewish Hospital were screened.
