Hydrogenation of CO2 to formic acid over non-precious metal based polymeric catalyst
Hydrogenation of CO2 to formic acid over non-precious metal based polymeric catalyst Catalytic hydrogenation of CO2 using non-precious metal based heterogeneous catalyst presents significant challenge and a promising opportunity for exploration. Herein, we demonstrate the catalytic hydrogenation of CO2 using iron loaded (<1%) on nitrogen rich polymer. The synthesized catalyst showed excellent catalytic activity and resulted 32.5 mmol of formic acid with high turn over number of 8419.
Theoretical and experimental investigation on electrostatic field dynamics of Co3O4@NiPx electrocatalyst with core shell structure in overall water splitting reactions
Owing to the extensive usage of fossil fuels, the significantly increased carbon emission had induced a linear rise in the carbon dioxide level in atmosphere, and would ultimately leading to serious energy and environmental issues [1], [2], [3]. Clean energy alternating the major energy source to hydrogen (H2) energy can achieve decarbonization, and its high energy density can also improve energy efficiency [4], [5], [6].
Modular synthesis of spirocyclic carbonates: Unravelling the synergistic interplay of electronic and electrostatic sites on phenolic catalyst
Modular synthesis of spirocyclic carbonates: Unravelling the synergistic interplay of electronic and electrostatic sites on phenolic catalyst Enhancement of 3D character in chemical scaffolds has become unavoidable space and key component for diverse applications. Herein, we report a simple phenol derived catalyst with synergistic involvement of electronic and electrostatic sites to access spirocyclic carbonates from spiroepoxy oxindoles and carbon dioxide.
