Risk-stratified versus standard-duration dual antiplatelet therapy after percutaneous coronary intervention: a systematic review and critical appraisal of prospective evidence
Aims Guidelines endorse risk-stratification tools (DAPT score, PRECISE-DAPT, ARC-HBR) to individualise dual antiplatelet therapy(DAPT) duration after PCI, yet a fixed 12-month course still imposes a uniform ischaemic-bleeding trade-off on a heterogeneous population. To our knowledge, whether these instruments have actually been tested prospectively to guide duration, has not been systematically established.

Exploring the relationship of cardiac autonomic function and rate-pressure product in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus
Background Cardiac autonomic neuropathy (CAN) is one of the most ignored complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). One of the indicators of CAN is a low heart rate variability (HRV). Rate-pressure product (RPP) indicates myocardial oxygen consumption. Theoretically, a reduction in HRV (due to increased resting HR (> 100 bpm) in T2DM) will lead to an increase in the resting RPP and, thereby, myocardial blood flow and oxygen consumption. However, no numerical relationship has been established.
Longitudinal changes in brain iron quantification biomarkers and their association with clinical severity in parkinson’s disease: a systematic review
Purpose Reliable biomarkers for tracking Parkinson’s disease (PD) progression remain an unmet clinical need. Quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM), an MRI technique sensitive to iron-related susceptibility changes, has emerged as a promising candidate biomarker; however, longitudinal findings have been limited and inconsistent.

Quality improvement strategies in the management of poisoning: a systematic review
Background Poisoning remains a major global public health concern, contributing significantly to morbidity and mortality. The management of poisoning cases is challenged by the absence of standardized treatment protocols, limited diagnostic frameworks, inconsistent antidote availability, and variability in clinical practice. Evaluating quality improvement (QI) approaches is essential to assess current standards of care and identify strategies to optimize poisoning management.

Pitfalls during mandible reconstruction with free fibula flap and its salvage: a case report
Background Primary restoration of mandibular continuity remains the standard of care for mandibular defects. The free fibular flap has been the preferred choice for reconstruction for more than a decade, owing to its thickness and reliable blood supply. However, flap failure may occur due to intraoperative mishaps, postoperative complications, or the patient’s overall health status. When secondary reconstruction becomes inevitable, it poses a formidable challenge.

Expanding the Spectrum: A Rare Case of Morquio Syndrome With Bronchial Asthma and Seizure Disorder
1 Introduction Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) type IV, or Morquio syndrome, is a rare, autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disease. Mucopolysaccharidoses, in general, are a group of inherited metabolic disorders characterized by deficiencies in specific lysosomal enzymes that are required for the breakdown of mucopolysaccharides. These enzyme deficiencies lead to the accumulation of mucopolysaccharides in various tissues and organs, resulting in the clinical disease [1, 2].
Exploring the challenges faced by generic version of complex drugs: a scoping review - Systematic Reviews
Over the past few decades, pharmaceutical companies have been driven by advanced drug discovery and have employed innovative drug development and analytical techniques [1]. Along with this advance, the growth of generic companies has drastically increased. The growth of simple generic drugs has steadily increased, and generic versions of these complex drugs are fewer in number, which again garners more attention from generic companies as well as more money from the public [2].
