Abstract Senescent cells are known to contribute to aging and age-related diseases. One key way they influence aging is by secreting senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) factors along with several damage-associated molecular pattern (DAMP) molecules. Consequently, inhibiting SASP and DAMP signaling (senomorphics) has emerged as a therapeutic strategy.

Abstract The insulin/IGF-I-like signaling (IIS) pathway is a highly conserved signaling cascade that plays a crucial role in regulating longevity across species. Given its significance in aging, identifying novel kinases interacting with the IIS pathway can provide deeper insights into the mechanisms governing longevity. In this study, we performed a targeted RNAi screen of the Caenorhabditis elegans kinome, utilizing dauer formation as a phenotypic readout.

Protein insolubility is a central feature of major age-related neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's Disease (AD), where hundreds of insoluble proteins associate with aggregated amyloid beta (Aβ) in senile plaques.
