Introduction Cardiac sarcoidosis (CS) is characterized by granulomatous infiltration of the myocardium, which may cause life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias, heart block, and cardiomyopathy.1 The condition is generally bifurcated into 2 groups of patients: those with pre-established extracardiac sarcoidosis such as pulmonary disease and those with de novo presentations of cardiac manifestations without a history of sarcoidosis.
