What was your first job as a journalist?
My very first journalism job was the Quigley Fellowship on Women's Rights Journalism, an editorial research fellowship at Smith College.

Once in an interactive museum. Does that count?
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use Notion as a project management/organizational system. I track everything there: pitches, invoices, contact lists...
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school didn't even have a newspaper.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Put yourself out there and learn as you go. Then continue learning for the rest of your life.
