It's making it hard to avoid sensationalism, as clicks and views drive performance. It's dissolved some of the public's trust in journalists.

Phil Connors, fromm Groundhog Day.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To honestly and sharply report on what's important.

not a big hashtag connoisseur

With words!
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Slack, Google Drive, Word, a CMS, Photoshop.
What's your favorite social network?
I'm not a big social media guy, but I like keeping in touch, so Instagram.

Why did you become a journalist?
Because I love talking about the things I love, and I want others to know about and love them too.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No I did not, but that's only because we didn't have one!
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
"'I'll Be There': Cillian Murphy Teases Return as Tommy Shelby in a Peaky Blinders Movie" I like my writing here!
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Work! Just write as much as you can, on your own, for a publication, or for fun! The best way to hone this craft is through practice.

Reading a book or kickboxing.
