Interview

What was your first job as a journalist?

I covered the Paul Gauguin exhibit with the Boston Globe at it’s opening at the Museum of Fine Arts.

Why did you become a journalist?

I wanted to be able to encourage people to be curious about the world around them. And so, writing was the best way for me to do that.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I did. I was an editor and copy writer.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My first byline with Cuisine Noir covering award-winning wine shop in Boston, The Urban Grape.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Tuesday to Thursday 11 am to 4 pm EST.

What's your favorite drink?

I love anything gin based so a classic Gin & Tonic is my drink of choice.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Hanging out with friends at a wine bar in Lisbon.
