STAMFORD, Conn.—Joe Mariany saw Shen Yun Performing Arts on May 7, 2026, at The Palace Theatre. “Excellent, I’m enjoying it. I love the fact that there’s a live orchestra,” said Mr. Mariany, a musician. “Very high quality, precise. Excellent performance. I know the culture of excellence. I have some familiarity with Chinese music or the bands from maybe the 70s, 80s,” shared Mr. Mariany. Shen Yun’s use of its digital backdrop is patented.

STAMFORD, Conn.—Peter Levy saw Shen Yun Performing Arts on May 7, 2026, at The Palace Theatre. “It was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I believe very strongly in what Shen Yun is doing. I was in China in 1987. I lived there for a whole summer,” shared Mr. Levy, an architect and real estate business owner. Shen Yun, based in New York, is on a mission to present “China before communism” and to revive people’s connection to 5,000 years of Chinese civilization and culture.

STAMFORD, Conn.—Sidney Lipschitz saw Shen Yun Performing Arts on May 7, 2026, at The Palace Theatre. “I enjoyed every part of it. It was excellent, the dancing, the choreography, the music, the history was beautiful,” said Mr. Lipschitz, a retired dental sales manager. “The entire story inspired me because of the culture of the Chinese people. It’s very, very interesting, very old, and very ancient. Goes back thousands of years. Almost to the time of creation of the world,” Mr. Lipschitz said.
