1 Introduction Aging is a complex process that induces changes at the molecular, cellular, and organismal levels, ultimately contributing to the onset of aging-related conditions and diseases. One hallmark of aging is chronic low-grade inflammation, commonly referred to as “inflammaging” (López-Otín et al. 2023). Several immune pathways have been shown to be activated during aging, contributing to aging-associated inflammation.
