I'm Marion Bertrand, a freelance journalist based in Sofia, Bulgaria. My journalistic journey began at the Centre de Formation et de Perfectionnement des Journalistes, where I earned my bachelor's degree in journalism. It was here that I uncovered my passion for writing and the French language. I was fortunate to have been influenced by professors who recognized my talent, encouraging me to excel in this domain. I pursued my passion further at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University, securing a Master's in Information and Communication.
Throughout my career, I've delved into a myriad of topics, ranging from fashion, lifestyle, gardening, cleaning tips, to health.
Between 2005 and 2007, I contributed to France's leading women's magazine, "Le Journal des Femmes", focusing on the "Beauty" section. This was followed by a stint at "20 Minutes France" from 2009 to 2011, where I cultivated a passion for gardening and plants, penning articles for their "Plants" segment.
From 2014 to 2018, I collaborated with Link Media Group, primarily focusing on in-depth articles, interviews, and economic topics. In 2019, I briefly teamed up with Usbek & Rica before transitioning to Cotemaison.fr in 2020, where I currently contribute.
I've been with Archzine since 2014, although I took a brief hiatus due to academic commitments. Yet, I always return with fresh, inspiring ideas for upcoming articles. I'm someone who approaches journalism with immense passion and enthusiasm.
With nearly two decades of experience in the world of journalism, I continue to inspire and inform readers with my exceptional work and a distinctive lens through which I view the world.
