A man is in custody after claiming to be trapped on the Scarborough Bluffs and trying to steal a fire truck Friday morning. Officers said they responded to a call at 8:20 a.m. after a man claimed to be stranded on the Scarborough Bluffs and, due to the weather condition, might need rescuing. But he was bluffing: When emergency crews arrived to the scene, they tried to look for the man, who did not provide an exact location at the time of his call, said police.
