QUINCY (WGEM) - A 34-year-old Quincy woman entered guilty pleas Friday morning in three felony cases related to a February fatal shooting on North Sixth Street. Shelby Wires pled guilty to five counts - including unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, concealing and aiding a fugitive, and obstructing justice - in the arrest of Stephen Mosley. Mosley was convicted and sentenced June 12 to 30 years in prison for the murder of Damien Gardner.

QUINCY (WGEM) - A Quincy woman facing felony charges related to the fatal shooting of Damien Gardner on North 6th Street in February has agreed to a plea deal with the Adams County State’s Attorney’s Office. Shelby Wires, 34, faces charges of felony possession of a weapon, concealing and aiding a fugitive, obstructing justice by destroying evidence and violating pretrial release. Wires is also charged with felony in possession of a weapon and felony domestic battery from a different incident.

MONROE COUNTY, Mo. (WGEM) - The former Monroe County, Missouri, public administrator awaiting trial on a financial exploitation case was arrested Thursday on a new charge of felony harassment. According to the probable cause statement, 47-year-old Jessica Ann Chase verbally threatened and harassed a family member over the phone for 20 minutes. The accuser said she had not spoken to Chase in about two years before receiving the call this week.
