What was your first job as a journalist?

I was a sportscaster on my local high school's TV news station.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Not in a very long time.

Why did you become a journalist?

It has always been a dream of mine to work in the hockey world as a journalist. Also want to help others do the same.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Several stories on various Blue Jackets' players and their impact in the local communities they serve.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

The work is hard and you will feel like wanting to give up at times. But it's your voice and your talent that is needed. Keep on fighting!

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Home on my recliner watching football.
